Welcome to The Essential Alchemist. Our hope with this site is to bring you access to information about aromatherapy, healing through essential oils and energy, as well as the highest quality essential oil products. Most blends are created by myself, Marcey DiCaro, with intuitive and practical connection to the plants and trees used. Occasionally, I will carry the blends of other alchemists, who’s creations have personally moved me in an exceptional way.

I have been fascinated with the idea of alchemy since I was young. What is alchemy? It is at its most basic meaning the Art of Transformation. Alchemy in its physical form was the ancestor of modern chemistry.  Since ancient times the spiritual aspects of alchemy has been studied and explored by many around the world. Known revered names such as Alexander, Issac Newton, DaVinci and others have all been alchemists. The magic in the Harry Potter series is based in alchemy – and some of the references are to actual alchemists ( Nicholas Flamel was a real alchemist).

I have been blessed throughout my life to have wonderful teachers. My study and work with herbs & essential oils began more than 30 years ago. Three years ago I began to study with my mentor, 3rd generation alchemist and aromatherapist, Mikael Zayat. He has given me his blessings to offer my blends to you. I create my blends for healing from my ever growing knowledge of the plants and trees from which the oils are distilled and my strong gift of intuition.
