It has been a hot and humid summer so far here in Tucson. The Saguaros and Prickly Pear cactus have been abundant with fruit. Both provide great nourishment and healing. The local tribes harvest the fruit of the Saguaros and make wine. Prickly Pear fruit and pads are excellent support for kidneys, liver and diabetics.
It is important to stay hydrated. Hydrosols of peppermint and lemon are helpful in staying cool. Do not recommend taking pure essential oils internally unless under the supervision of an aromatherapist or medical professional who specializes in aromatherapy.
It's also time for mosquitos. Essential oils like cedar, eucalyptus, citronella, peppermint, geranium and lavender are helpful for repelling them. I have heard good things about my blend - Bug Off. There is a product on the market called Repel which gets good ratings.
Products I Recommend7th Generation's Toilet Bowl Cleaner and Disinfecting Wipes. Both contain essential oils and are plant based. To the bowl cleaner I add drops of Clean and Clear for extra anti bacterial power. Silver Coloidal no particular brand - aids in raising immune system.
